The goal of this unit is to understand the usefulness throughout the ages and how it pertains to gathering information and drawing conclusions.  The main focus of this unit will be on the nature of reproduction in living organisms through both sexual and asexual means. The role of Genetics. specifically the DNA will be examined as will the role of reproductive technologies and their effect on society. This unit will encourage students to place science and its study into a real world context.
