Class Schedule Resumes Monday, April 15th

Today we learned hat "the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation is suspending the provincewide withdrawal of all voluntary professional responsibilities effective April 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. "

As a result, as of Monday, April 15, 2024 all Regina Public Schools' operations and programs will resume and all schools will return to their usual schedules.

This means that:

     - All elementary and high schools will return to their typical schedules.

     - Supervision before and after schools as well as during the lunch period will resume as usual.

     - Regular student transportation times will resume, including single and double bus runs.

Violence Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) Fair Notice Letter

Regina Public Schools believes that the safety of students, staff and everyone who enters our schools and offices is of great importance. Our Shared Values of "I Respect" and "I Belong" speak to the belief that great learning starts with schools that are safe and comfortable environments in which to learn, work, grow and play. We also work closely with families and community partners to provide supports our students might need to ensure that they are healthy and successful at school.

Homework Support Room

The Homework Support Room is offered to Grades 9 - 12 students every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 12:08 - 1:08 p.m. in College B (Room B2) on the main floor.

The Homework Support Room is designed to provide a place for any Winston Knoll Collegiate student to receive targeted assistance from a teacher with their classroom assignments, in addition to being a space where students can complete missed exams as arranged by their subject-area teacher. All students who have outstanding assignments or course activities and/or need help are welcome to attend.

Notification of a Student Absence

It is important for parents/guardians to notify the school of a student absence. In the past, parents have called or emailed the school office. With the addition of EDSBY, there are now THREE methods available to notify the school that your child is absent or will be in the future.

      1. Call the main office at (306) 523-3400

      2.  Email the main office at winstonknollcollegiate@rbe.sk.ca

      3. Enter the absence on EDSBY

PLEASE ONLY USE ONE METHOD TO NOTIFY THE SCHOOL TO AVOID CONFUSION AND DOUBLE-ENTRY BY SCHOOL OFFICE STAFF.

2023-2024 Driver Education

The first Driver Education class for Winston Knoll Collegiate students will start on Monday, October 23, 2023. Registration forms and program information can be obtained by visiting the Main School Office. Students must be 15 years old by the class start date in order to be eligible to take the course.

Students can bring their completed forms to the office once they are 15 years old.
